Welcome to the Membership & Booking Terms and Conditions ("T&C") / subscription information section of Thailand Business Platform website (“the Site”) where you, as an individual, or your organisation may apply to become a member of Thailand Business Platform, pay to attend events and training courses hosted by Thailand Business Platform, obtain discount on business services, user of the ABC ASEAN Benefit Card and get access to the web Member Community.
Non Member also may attend events and training courses but at higher participation fee as our members, and should also comply with these Membership & Booking Terms & Conditions, especially the Booking clauses, the points 1,6,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18
Where we refer in the Membership & Booking Terms and Conditions (T&C) to “you or your organisation”, all such references should be taken to apply to the entity in the name of which application is made.
By registering to become a member of Thailand Business Platform and ordering a booking to participate an event or training, you or your organisation agree to accept without modification the Membership & Booking Terms and Conditions (T&C) below and agree to comply with and be bound by any regulations and bye-laws from time to time in force.
By viewing and using the Site you or your organisation are deemed to consent to and accept the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

Thailand Business Platform Membership & Booking Terms and Conditions (T&C) - June 2017
1. Changes to these Terms and Conditions (T&C):
We reserve the right to change these Membership & Booking Terms and Conditions (T&C) at any time. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your or your organisation’s continued use of our Member Services or the Site constitutes, you and your organisation’s agrees to these Terms and Conditions (T&C).
2. Your Status:
In order to apply on your own behalf or on behalf of your organisation to become a member of Thailand Business Platform or book an event or training, you must be at least 18 years old and you must be legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
3. User Registration:
In order for you or your organisation to become a member of the Thailand Business Platform you must register, set up an account and pay a subscription. This subscription fee is determined by Thailand Business Platform and can be subject to change at any time at its sole discretion.
Membership of the Thailand Business Platform is personal to you or your organisation and may not be transferred or assigned. By registering to become a member you or your organisation agrees to pay all fees and charges including applicable taxes and other costs linked to membership regulations, services and event and training bookings of Thailand Business Platform and any regulations and bye-laws from time to time in force.
4. Personal Information:
In order for you or your organisation to become a member of Thailand Business Platform or booking a participation of an event or training, you must provide the Site with
(a) true, current, complete and accurate information as prompted to do so by the Site and
(b) maintain and properly update this information as required to keep it true, current, complete and accurate.
In the case of an individual applying to become a member he/she must give the name, residence, business profession or other occupation of the applicant and any other information which Thailand Business Platform may require.
If you or your organisation provides any information that is untrue, not accurate, incomplete or inaccurate or the Site has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, not current, incomplete or inaccurate Thailand Business Platform has the right to suspend or terminate your or your organisation’s membership.
All information requested on original sign up shall hereafter be referred to as “Registration Information”. This Registration Information will be retained by Thailand Business Platform for no longer than as is necessary.
By registration and thus creating a business profile, you or your organisation have given permission to post your or your organisation’s profile on the Site for connecting with others and promote your profile. Our business affiliates do have a compulsory public profile, while members are only visible in the community part of the Site for fellow members. Note that in the profile certain parts, especially privacy-related data, can be hidden.
You or your organisation have agreed to the use of the Registration Information for direct marketing purposes by Thailand Business Platform or any selected third parties, although Thailand Business Platform agrees to use the Registration Information only for the purpose of supplying at benefits of membership to you or your organisation, you or your organisation may opt out in writing at any time. Thailand Business Platform does not make any representation or warranty with respect to the content of any direct marketing messages or any goods or services which may be obtained from such allied parties or third parties, and you or your organisation agree that Thailand Business Platform shall not have any liability with respect thereof.
Thailand Business Platform reserves the right to disclose the Registration Information if required to do so by law or if it believes in good faith that any such disclosure is reasonably necessary for the administration of Justice, to enforce these Terms and Conditions, to respond to any complaint received regarding the rights of third parties, or to protect the rights, property or personal safety of Thailand Business Platform its users and the public.
5. Nominees:
Member(s) can be nominated for administrative and operational roles, as determined by Thailand Business Platform from time to time, they shall be authorised, confirmed by a written confirmation, to represent the interests of Thailand Business Platform.
6. User Account, Password and Security:
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your or your organisation’s password and account, and for any and all activities, which may occur under your or your organisation’s account or password. You agree to notify immediately Thailand Business Platform of any unauthorised use of your or your organisation’s account, password or any other breach of security known to you. Thailand Business Platform will not be liable for any loss that you or your organisation may incur as a result of someone else using or accessing your or your organisation’s password or account, either with or without your or your organisation’s knowledge. However you or your organisation may be held liable for losses incurred by Thailand Business Platform or any other party as a result of someone else using or assessing your or your organisation’s password or account. You or your organisation will not use anyone else’s account at any time without the permission of the account holder. You or your organisation may change its password or profile by following the instructions on the Site.
7. Auto Renewal of Annual Subscription:
Thailand Business Platform offers an annual subscription of membership, with a registration that can be done at all times, but for administrative reasons the formal membership starts at the 1st day of the coming month after the registration date. You or your organisation’s subscription will be automatically renewed by Thailand Business Platform in advance of the renewal date unless you or your organisation include that you do not wish you or your organisation’s membership to be automatically renewed. 8. Membership Payment: In order for you or your organisation to become a member of the Thailand Business Platform through the Site you must provide Thailand Business Platform with your preferred payment mode
(a) a valid credit card
(b) a valid Paypal account
(c) a bank account for payment; confirmation a bank slip is required.
By selecting credit card or payment provider Paypal, both have a payment convenience reduction on membership fee, you or your organisation authorise the Thailand Business Platform to bill all fees, charges and applicable taxes through that account as and when they become due. We send membership invoice 14 days prior to subscription renewal date and expect payment before the subscription renewal date. All payments must be received within 14 days of invoice date. Any queries regarding billing on your or your organisation’s account must be raised with Thailand Business Platform within 14 days. You or your organisation will be billed in THB - Thai Bath.
If the Thailand Business Platform does not receive payment, you or your organisation agree to pay all amounts due on its account upon demand. If Thailand Business Platform does not receive prompt payment for all fees and charges and applicable taxes, you or your organisation will be in default and remain liable, Thailand Business Platform will transfer the claim to a debt collection company and reserves the right to suspend your or your organisation’s account without notice. Subject to any rights of withdrawal applicable law, fees, charges and applicable taxes are non-refundable.
9. Membership Cancellation
(a) Probation Cancellation
You or your organisation have a 28 full days from the day after signup to cancel your membership contract for any reason. Paid annual membership fee reduced pro-rata 1 month will be refunded, excluding the possible application and enrolment fee for new applications.
(b) Interim Cancellation
You or your organisation may cancel your annual membership on giving us one full calendar month's on written notice in the event of certain circumstances that are beyond your reasonable control, as follows:
• Relocation to another country, in the event that your permanent address or your principal place of employment is changed and both your new permanent address and your new principal place of employment are located in an different country as Thailand, upon appropriate evidence being provided and received by us.
• Long term (over three months) illness or injury, in the event of an illness, injury or medical condition which in the written opinion of a doctor or other suitably qualified medical practitioner prohibits you from working for a period of three consecutive months or longer, upon appropriate evidence of such illness, injury or medical condition being provided.
• Redundancy, where you have been made redundant from your employer or otherwise lose your job, upon appropriate evidence of redundancy or proof of entitlement to jobseeker's allowance being provided.
• At our discretion: if none of the above circumstances apply and you are affected by other unforeseen extenuating circumstances we may (at our discretion and on an individual basis) consider a request by you to cancel your membership contract. Partly over the remaining year, a pro-rata full months left, (membership) fee will be refunded, excluding the possible application and enrolment fee for new applications.
(c) Cancellation of Renewal of Annual Subscription
You or your organisation may cancel your rolling term / auto renewal of annual subscription contract on giving us minimum 1 full calendar months’ written notice. Your membership will end at the end of the calendar month of your annual membership term.
(d) Cancellation Procedure
Please note - any cancellation will not be effective until the appropriate supporting evidence is provided and received by us. Members are deemed to manage their membership from their community account containing an cancellation notice.
10. Bookings of Events and Training Services:
In order you or your organisation do book a participation of an event or training, you must provide the Site with
(a) true, current, complete and accurate information as prompted to do so by the Site and
(b) maintain and properly update this information as required to keep it true, current, complete and accurate.
In the case of an individual applying to become a member he/she must give the name, residence, business profession or other occupation of the applicant and any other information which Thailand Business Platform may require.
If you or your organisation provides any information that is untrue, not accurate, incomplete or inaccurate or the Site has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, not current, incomplete or inaccurate Thailand Business Platform has the right to suspend or terminate your or your organisation’s participation without refunding fees.
You and your organisation, members and non-members wherein Thailand Business Platform uses a price differentiation, may book and pay for attendance events and/or training hosted by Thailand Business Platform through this Site. The fees for such events and/or training can be paid by
(a) a valid credit card,
(b) a valid Paypal account,
(c) bank account, for payment confirmation a bank slip is required,
(d) cash, before commencement and access, but only if seats are available.
All payments for participation must be received, upfront/prior to the specific event or training.
11. Bookings Cancellation Policy:
You have the right to cancel your place at an event or training hosted by Thailand Business Platform under these terms:
• If you cancel your attendance at least 14 days before Thailand Business Platform event or training is due to begin, you will be due a full refund of that amount.
• If you cancel your attendance at a Thailand Business Platform less than 14 working days before a booked event or training is due to begin, or if you fail to attend an event or training, no refund will be given.
12. Cancellation by Us:
Without prejudice to any other rights or remedies which each party may have, Thailand Business Platform may cancel planned or booked events and training (services) or any other of the Site listed services, immediately on with or without giving notice to you or your organisation. If so, upfront paid bookings or services will be refunded.
13. Respect Business Etiquette:
Etiquette refers to good manners and you and your organisation must behave in a business and socially acceptable way at events, training, on the Site community and in other, you and your organisation’s inactions between Thailand Business Platform and our staff, third parties, hired venues and their staff, other members and participants at events and training.
Most “Do & Dont’s” are obvious, simply;
• keep a business attitude,
• be prepared and set and focus on your goals,
• be clear about intensions and communication in agreements and appointments,
• always be polite,
• never overreact - stay calm,
• be a good listener and wait for your turn to speak,
• take care of your pitch and tone,
• do not be late and do not disturb,
• respect each other’s privacy,
• do not spreading baseless rumours or share unethical or confidential data,
• put mobile phones in the silent or vibrating mode,
• playing phone is bad time consuming and impolite to others,
• keep our hired venues clean and tidy,
• eat properly - not excessively and do not waste any food,
• keep careful with alcoholic beverages,
• no shabbily dressing - dress as per the occasion,
• do not take any venue property or other belongings is equivalent to stealing,
• park cars only on allocated destinations.

14. Our Obligation and Action at Customer Dissatisfaction:
Thailand Business Platform mediates on Site listed in multiple services, and while affiliates have been screened and selected with extreme care, it remains possible, the services hosted by Thailand Business Platform do not meet member’s expectations and / or personal frictions affect the service quality adversely. Our obligation is to ensure a good customer satisfaction and to avoid and resolve conflicts, the request is to notify Thailand Business Platform in an early stage of the displeasures and shortcomings, and we will take appropriate measures. Thailand Business Platform, as an intermediary is unable to offer any financial compensation but will mediate between affiliate and members to receive an acceptable solution.
15. Liability and Disclaimer:
To the full extent allowed by (Thai) law, you or your organisation agree that Thailand Business Platform will not be liable, to you or your organisation for, including but not limited to;
• any consequential or incidental loss or (not foreseeable) damages (goods and belongings, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and loss of data), or
• any personal injury or personal damage caused by us, third parties, hired venues and their staff, other members and participants at events and training hosted by us, or
• any other indirect, special or punitive damages whatsoever that arise out of or relating to the Site, or
• any direct and consequential damage resulting from our advice, any affiliate advice, knowledge transfer and sharing of knowledge, information obtained from events or training and of any other possibility, or
• any (other) business decisions that we take in our business operations, and
• our total liability is limited to contract period or membership duration and if we are found to be liable to you or your organisation our liability shall not exceed the (membership or service) fees.
16. Term and Termination:
(a) We reserve the right to terminate your or your organisation’s membership at any time without notice, and without issuing any refunds if it is in breach of the Terms and Conditions. We shall not be liable to you or your organisation or any third party arising from the termination of your or your organisation’s membership.
(b) We reserve the right to terminate your or your organisation’s membership immediately should you harass, threaten or abuse our staff or other members and participants, maliciously damage our hired venues / facilities, or should you commit any illegal act whilst on our hired venues / facilities. In addition, all damages and costs will be charged to instigator/ guilty.
(c) We reserve the right to terminate your or your organisation’s account following the expiry of your or your organisation’s membership and to delete all information and files on your or your organisation’s account if you or your organisation does not renew its membership. You can renew you or your organisation’s membership within two months only, following the expiry of the membership period. After 2 month, if you have not renewed you or your organisation’s membership within this two month period, you will not be able to access your or your organisation’s account and all data and information relating to you or your organisation’s account will be deleted.
17. Governing Law:
The Terms and Conditions shall for all purposes be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ireland. You or your organisation and the Thailand Business Platform agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Thailand. The place and performance of this agreement shall be Bangkok Thailand.
